Comme pour le graph\u00e8ne ou les nanotubes de carbone, une fi\u00e8vre pour les p\u00e9rovskites a gagn\u00e9 les chercheurs du monde entier. Pourtant, rien ne pr\u00e9disait que ces mat\u00e9riaux utilis\u00e9s depuis\u00a02012 \u00e0 peine dans le domaine photovolta\u00efque allaient faire tomber tous les records de<span class=\"mot-definition\">rendement<\/span> : 10\u00a0% en\u00a02012, 15\u00a0% en\u00a02013, 20\u00a0% en\u00a02014, plus tr\u00e8s loin des 25,6\u00a0% de rendement aujourd\u2019hui affich\u00e9s par le silicium\u2026 Et qui sait jusqu\u2019o\u00f9 les courbes s\u2019envoleront\u00a0?<\/p>\n<div id=\"article-contenu1\" class=\"section-heading\">\n<h2>Des qualit\u00e9s insoup\u00e7onn\u00e9es<\/h2>\n<p>Les p\u00e9rovskites d\u00e9signent une famille de mat\u00e9riau ayant une structure cristalline particuli\u00e8re. Celles utilis\u00e9es pour le solaire sont dites hybrides, comprenant \u00e0 la fois des compos\u00e9s organiques et inorganiques. La bonne s\u00e9paration des charges \u00e9lectriques et leur mobilit\u00e9 sont en effet la bonne surprise de ce mat\u00e9riau \u2013\u00a0une surprise d\u2019autant plus grande qu\u2019 <em>\u00ab\u00a0au moment o\u00f9 les premiers r\u00e9sultats sont tomb\u00e9s, les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e9lectroniques de ces mat\u00e9riaux \u00e9taient encore mal connues, c\u2019est d\u2019ailleurs toujours le cas aujourd\u2019hui\u00a0\u00bb,<\/em> explique Emmanuelle Deleporte, physicienne au Laboratoire Aim\u00e9-Cotton\u00a02 qui \u00e9tudie depuis dix ans ces compos\u00e9s. \u00c0 la bonne mobilit\u00e9 des charges s\u2019ajoutent une bonne absorption de la lumi\u00e8re du soleil, la possibilit\u00e9 de les manipuler sous forme d\u2019encre pour de grands rev\u00eatements et un co\u00fbt de fabrication peu \u00e9lev\u00e9\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"article-contenu2\" class=\"section-heading\">\n<h2>Vers des solutions mixtes<\/h2>\n<p>Alors\u2026 Les p\u00e9rovskites seront-elles LA technologie du futur pour le photovolta\u00efque\u00a0? <em>\u00ab\u00a0Je ne pense pas qu\u2019une seule technologie deviendra la solution unique,<\/em> temp\u00e8re Daniel Lincot. <em>Les p\u00e9rovskites ont apport\u00e9 un \u00e9lan consid\u00e9rable \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 photovolta\u00efque et sont encore pleines de promesses, mais elles se heurtent \u00e9galement \u00e0 des verrous tr\u00e8s importants comme leur pi\u00e8tre stabilit\u00e9 ou leur mauvaise r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l\u2019eau\u2026 Par ailleurs, les records sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s sur des d\u00e9monstrateurs de quelques millim\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s de surface.
