Les EnR vont attirer 5 trillions de dollars d\u2019investissements, dont la moiti\u00e9 pour la r\u00e9gion Asie-Pacifique.<\/p>\n<p>Les deux principaux moteurs de ce changement global seront le solaire PV et l\u2019\u00e9olien terrestre. La puissance photovolta\u00efque cumul\u00e9e en 2030 sera de 1,9 TW (0,14 TW en 2013), soit davantage que celle de l\u2019\u00e9olien qui atteindra 1,3 TW. La puissance install\u00e9e des autres EnR (dont l\u2019hydro\u00e9lectricit\u00e9) sera de 2 TW.<\/p>\n<p>La part combin\u00e9e du solaire photovolta\u00efque et de l\u2019\u00e9olien terrestre dans le mix \u00e9lectrique mondial passera de 3% en 2013 \u00e0 17% en 2030 (entre 16 et 18% selon les hypoth\u00e8ses retenues). Le troisi\u00e8me \u00e9l\u00e9ment majeur sera l\u2019hydro\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. En revanche, les contributions de la bio\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et de l\u2019\u00e9olien offshore seront relativement modestes, tandis que celles du solaire thermodynamique (CSP) et de la g\u00e9othermie seront faibles.<\/p>\n<p>Le monde se dirige ainsi progressivement vers un mix \u00e9lectrique \u00ab Wind Water Sun \u00bb, formule de Mark Jacobson, sp\u00e9cialiste des questions \u00e9nergie-atmosph\u00e8re de l\u2019universit\u00e9 Stanford.<\/p>\n<h3>Les \u00e9nergies renouvelables, un march\u00e9 de 5000 milliards de dollars, contre 2700 milliards pour les \u00e9nergies non durables<\/h3>\n<p>En 2030 la puissance photovolta\u00efque install\u00e9e dans le monde sera quatre fois sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle du nucl\u00e9aire. Compte-tenu du fait que le facteur de charge moyen du nucl\u00e9aire est environ 5 fois sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui du solaire PV, la production solaire correspondra \u00e0 environ 80% de celle du nucl\u00e9aire. La production photovolta\u00efque d\u00e9passera probablement celle du nucl\u00e9aire durant la d\u00e9cennie 2030.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9gion Asie-Pacifique va attirer 2,5 trillions de dollars d\u2019investissements dans les \u00e9nergies renouvelables, dont 1,4 trillion en Chine. En Europe 94% des investissements dans le solaire concerneront le segment du petit PV. Une situation tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rente de celle de la r\u00e9gion Asie-Pacifique o\u00f9 la moiti\u00e9 des capacit\u00e9s PV install\u00e9es concerneront de grandes centrales.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les Am\u00e9riques 231 milliards de dollars vont \u00eatre investis dans le petit solaire PV en toiture, soit 18% de la totalit\u00e9 des investissements dans le secteur \u00e9lectrique de ce continent. Seul le gaz naturel, avec 24% du volume des investissements en Am\u00e9rique, d\u00e9passera le solaire.<\/p>\n<h3>Cap vers une \u00ab Solar Electric Economy \u00bb<\/h3>\n<p>Selon plusieurs rapports, dont un du groupe p\u00e9trolier Shell, le solaire va devenir la source principale d\u2019\u00e9nergie de l\u2019humanit\u00e9 durant la seconde moiti\u00e9 du XXI\u00e8me si\u00e8cle. Le groupe Total, g\u00e9ant p\u00e9trolier fran\u00e7ais, a investi 1,4 milliard de dollars pour acqu\u00e9rir 60 % du capital de l\u2019entreprise SunPower, anticipant la r\u00e9volution solaire qui ne fait que commencer.<\/p>\n<p>Mais, la comp\u00e9tition sera rude. Pr\u00e9sident de SolarCity qui domine le tiers du march\u00e9 solaire r\u00e9sidentiel aux USA, Elon Musk vient d\u2019annoncer la construction d\u2019une \u00ab giga-factory \u00bb ayant une capacit\u00e9 de production d\u20191 GW\/an de panneaux solaires. Il ne s\u2019agit, selon Elon Musk, que d\u2019une \u00ab unit\u00e9 pilote \u00bb qui n\u2019est que le d\u00e9but d\u2019une s\u00e9rie d\u2019usines g\u00e9antes capables chacune de produire 10 GW\/an.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Le soleil est un r\u00e9acteur nucl\u00e9aire libre et tr\u00e8s pratique \u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le 17 juin 2014 Elon Musk, non sans son ironie habituelle, dont la fondation a d\u2019ailleurs donn\u00e9 500.000 dollars pour la construction d\u2019une centrale solaire au Japon suite \u00e0 la catastrophe nucl\u00e9aire de Fukushima et dont la fortune personnelle d\u00e9passe le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net du groupe Total en 2013.
